In the 30's Hawai'ins played a game they called POGS Named after a beloved drink called POG for Papaya, Orange and Guava juice. This game consisted of stacking disks in a pile and each player taking turns to slam a heavier disk on the board (the slammer). The intent was to make the pile jump. If any pog turned over - face up the player whose turn it was- got to keep it. The winner was the person who had the most pogs.

In the early 1990's this game became popular again. School kids traded POGS on the playground and a 12 inch tube became "the" item to have. By the mid-90's the fad was over making way for garbage can kid cards and beanie babies.

I was sleuthing around the local second hand store and found a tube of POGS! Whoo yaahhhh! A whole tube of fun earrings is what I thought.

So here is a pair....I call this pair of earrings "Casino" and with one look you will know why. You will be a winner in these.

Made of tag board they are sturdy but I would not wear in water. The flip side has been covered with silver contact paper.

Earwires are hypoallergenic.
