This is a stunningly beautiful, bright aqua, antique glass fishing float found along the Alaskan coast. Made from recycled glass, usually saki bottles. The trade mark on this float, which is a plus sign (not on the button) is Kanji For 10. This indicates it was made using a three piece mold. The button on the bottom of this float is flat which makes it easy to display.

This float is about half frosted with the ghosted netting on the bottom portion. There are three visible seams from the mold it was made in. It is about the size of a softball (10.5 inch circumference.) The frosting on the float is caused by floating around the ocean and being exposed to the elements for as many as 30 years or more! As you can see in 2nd and 3rd pictures there is a tiny mark on this float, its not a crack or a pit, its a flaw that was done while making this float. Its a tiny little part that juts out a bit which, to me, just adds character to this intensely colorful float.

This glass fishing float would look beautiful as indoor or outdoor decor...even use it to spruce up your backyard pond!
