Description

These little airplanes/aeroplanes are just so perfect for boarding pass or passport invitations, destination weddings, travel themes, scrapbooking, card making, flying enthusiasts, boys and more! They also look great tied around favours, napkin rings and so forth.

♥ Laser-cut from thin plywood (approximately 3 mm thick)
♥ Lightweight
♥ Dimensions: 50 x 50 mm (approximately 2 x 2 inches)
♥ Hole placement is to be determined by you during checkout. If required the hole size will be approximately 2 mm (big enough for thin twine such as baker's twine). If you would like to thread the airplanes onto thick twine or ribbon I suggest that you order jump rings (please contact me).

LASER-CUTTING
Laser-cutting is a process by which paper, wood, fabric, acrylic or other material is cut with a laser beam. The laser beam literally burns through the material being cut. Smoke may leave a residue on the front of items as well as marks on the back. Especially on wood and light-coloured paper the cutting and engraving areas (or anything near to them) may appear burnished, scorched or stained. This discolouration is part of the beauty of laser-cut items. It gives a delicate, almost rustic or vintage charm to wood and paper and cannot be avoided.

Laser-cut stationery is especially delicate and burnt-away areas, fraying and small torn areas are all part of the laser-cutting process. These "imperfections" form part of the manufacturing process and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint, replacement or refunds. Care should be taken when handling laser-cut stationery items as they may tear or break easily, due to their delicate nature. All items will be carefully checked before shipping, but I cannot accept responsibility for damage after shipping. I recommend that buyers choose appropriate protection when mailing their DIY wedding invitations containing delicate elements. Cardstock-backed envelopes, stationery boxes or bubble-wrap envelopes may be required to ensure the safe delivery of your invitations to your guests.

A special thank you to the lovely Haley and Deborah for the photographs of their invitations! (Images 3 and 4).

Shipped on time and was exactly as pictured. Holes are small so a bit of a challenge for threading through but made it work. It completed the look to our passport wedding invitations. We have been getting a lot of complements on them!
