For your consideration, here is the culinary classic cookbook
Mastering The Art Of French Cooking with Dust Jacket.

It is of course by Julia Child,
Louisette Bertholle, Simone Beck with
drawings by Sidonie Coryn.

Alfred A Knopf

This book is the hard cover version and comes with the dust jacket.
It has 684 pages and an index as well.

It is filled with wonderful recipes and helpful illustrations to get you cooking just like Julia used to.do.

The book itself is in nice used, but not abused condition.
There is a light red tint on the edges of the pages on the top side of the book

I don't see any missing pages or personal writing in the book.
On the blue green page that backs the front cover, there is a vertical line crease (for lack of better term) that runs down the page. This may have just been the way it came from the printer.
Near the top of the book at the spine, the binding has come away some which might be expected from usage.

The pages have a faint sign of yellowing which is due to it's age.

There is some edge wear or bumps to the book that may be from shelving.

On the dust jacket, there are rips, stains, yellowing and scuffs from storage or age. The book's price may have been clipped off at some point.
But the dust jacket did a pretty good job of keeping the book itself in good shape.

There is no musty smell or bad odors.

This cookbook has a copyright date of 1961 and below that it reads
Reprinted Eleven times
Thirteenth Printing
December 1966

I am not sure if this is a book club edition or not.

Would make a nice addition as the holidays are just around the corner and you might want to try some new recipes for your friends and family.

As Julia Child always said as she closed her show, "Bon Appetit".

Please see all the pictures. I tried my best to get as many pics to show the book's condition as I could.
Pardon the glare from camera flash.

Shipping cost shown is for media mail with insurance and delivery confirmation.
Media Mail can take weeks at times to arrive at destinations. So if you need this book faster or for a holiday, I would suggest priority mail shipping rather than media mail.

If you do require priority mail, it will be more expensive to ship that way. A good estimate is about $21.00 to ship this book depending on your location or zip code.
If you do want priority mail shipping, convo or email me here first here before you purchase so I can adjust the shipping cost for you in this listing, otherwise this cookbook will be shipped out media mail.

Thank you.
