An interesting and beautiful antique map of Africa that shows the continent's political division at the end of the 19th. century. This antique map is part of a world atlas, the "Atlas de Géographie Moderne" pubished by Librairie Hachette in Paris, France,1889 that was supervised by the cartographer F. Schrader. It is a 122 years old beautiful engraving. Text in French.

Size: 18" x 14.7"

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. Colors are bright and paper is high quality. There is some foxing and a small tear on the lower where the map was folded (it will be covered when framed).

Sent to you in a flat envelope, folded in two (as it was in the original Atlas) protected with a cello sleeve and cardboard. Printed on the back but it doesn't show through.

This is an ORIGINAL, not a reproduction.
