This typographic design celebrates "Victoria" the opening track on the Kinks' 1969 concept album Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire).

This is the second of three Kinks themed screenprints I've designed using Herb Lubalin's supremely flexible Avant Garde typeface, whilst detailing Ray Davies' complete lyrics from the song in Trade Gothic. All these details are framed in a rich, regal, purple rounded rectangle which will leap off your lounge wall.

Like its predecessor "God Save the Kinks" I've produced only fifteen of these 500 x 700mm (19.7" x 27.5") prints, hand-printed (by myself) on 220gsm cream Fabriano stock. Each print is numbered and signed by the Artist.

N.B.
Due to this very organic print process, no one print is perfectly rendered. Every print has its own inconsistencies and glitches making each one a distinct original, never to be printed again.
