What happens in the event that my package is returned to the seller?

In the event of a forced return (i.e. a delivery has been attempted and the item is subsequently not picked up from the collection depot and is returned to sender), the buyer will be required to pay additional shipping costs to have the item resent. I will make two attempts to contact the buyer (immediately on return of the item, and again 1 month later), but if no response is forthcoming the item will be either be disposed of (personalised items) or resold (generic items). If the item is generic the buyer will be refunded, less the cost of outward shipping. Personalised items are not eligible for refund.

How do I return an item if I've changed my mind? (Excludes personalised/custom items)

You have the right to cancel within 30 days of placing the order unless it is a personalised item. If item has already been received, it must be returned in pristine, resaleable condition in original packaging and you are responsible for cost of return of the item. Please obtain proof of postage. Items returned damaged, incomplete, or not in original packaging are not eligible for refund. Items not returned within 30 days of being received, are not eligible for refund.

Personalisation and sizing

I will always stamp exactly the text you send to me, and make your item in the size chosen, where applicable. To avoid any errors please do double check before sending to me, as I cannot be held responsible for any mistakes which are not my own. Remaking or resizing an item will incur additional costs if the mistake is the fault of the buyer If I have made a mistake I will, of course, remake the item free of charge.

Remove your piece before showering or bathing, or applying lotions or perfumes. Avoid wearing with other jewellery or near zips. Should the metal need a clean, wash in warm soapy water (a non-moisturising soap), then dry, and polish with a soft cloth. Avoid wetting leather. Where one shape is stacked on top of another, or where items have beads or charms attached, over a period of time you will notice very slight wear. This is normal with hand-stamped items and is not a fault. Should the lettering fade, fill in with a black permanent marker pen or nail varnish and remove excess with hand gel or nail polish remover once dry.

Are your items suitable for children?

My items contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 36 months.

My item hasn't arrived, what happens now?

Please check the tracking details provided at the time of dispatch. Your item may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. International items can also take time to clear customs. An item is not considered lost until the following timescales have been reached. UK Special delivery - 5 working days UK Tracked 24 - 8 working days UK Tracked 48 - 9 working days Europe - 20 working days Rest of world - 25 working days Once these timescales have been reached, I will be happy to refund/replace an item.

I'm in USA, will I have to pay additional costs for tariffs and import duty?

All orders shipped to the United States will be sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means that all customs duties and tariffs are settled in advance, ensuring smooth delivery without additional charges upon arrival. The fees are part of the shipping costs and are paid at the point of sale by the customer.

I've lost my item, will you refund or replace it?

Customers are responsible for their items once delivered, and any lost items will not be replaced or refunded. If you believe your item has a fault (such as a fastening issue or other defect), this must be reported before the item is lost and supported with clear photo or video evidence. Claims for items reported after loss, or without sufficient proof of a fault, will not be honoured.

This Viking rune pendant can be personalised with your own name or word using Elder Futhark rune symbols. The rustic necklace is made from a pewter bar which is either 1cm or 7mm wide and approximately 2mm thick. The length of the pewter will vary depending on the number of symbols required. I can also stamp runes on both sides of the pendant, making it totally reversible.
*PLEASE NOTE* the 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16 character options are for double sided pendants only. Please contact me if you need a longer name for a single side.

The vertical pewter bar is available with 2mm waxed cotton cord with sliding knots which adjust to fit most neck sizes, or from stainless steel chain in various lengths and thicknesses.

The pendant in the picture is the name 'Johan' using 6mm runes on 1cm wide pewter. 3mm is good for longer names, or if you want a less chunky pendant for someone more petite.

Hand-stamping is a process whereby letters or designs are punched into metal, one at a time with a hammer, which displaces the metal. There will be variations in placement, alignment and depth of impression. This is normal with hand stamping and is what makes each of my hand-made keepsakes truly unique.
The process is completely different to engraving, which completely removes the metal rather than displacing it.
