Description

Remember; It's very important to use the correct type of silver flatware for every course.

This striking trade illustration from 1927 represents the very finest work in American advertising of it's day. Created at the time just before the advent of color photography, this gorgeous old ad is engraved and printed in striking halftones in black and white.

'International Silver Company Silverware' is an original trade publication promotional illustration from 1927. This gem of a print was engraved by the Harvard Engraving Company of Boston from seven individual line and halftone plates.

In the 1920s, a career in the advertising sector of the printing trade was a serious REALLY Big Deal. American advertisement designers and illustrators were some of the most sought after and richly rewarded occupations of the time.

This lovely ad copy in wonderful smooth condition with sound edges and corners and almost no tanning at all; amazing considering this print is 90 years old!
We should all look this stunning at 90. It's printed on heavy quality paper stock and features another ad proof from the same period on the reverse. She measures 9" x 12" overall; the print itself is 6" x 8"

'International Silver Company Silverware' would be delight framed for display in your 1920s bungalow kitchen.

Matted, framed and displayed as a gallery grouping, these wonderful antique advertisement prints are simply spectacular. (Please note that the framed examples in the last photo are just to show how this might look when it's framed. Your print will come to you unmatted and unframed.)

This beautiful & rare pair of Laurel Burch Plum Blossom Cloisonné earrings arrived in mint condition! They were carefully & elegantly wrapped along with a thank you note & packed securely. They were shipped promptly & the transaction was smooth. Laurel Burch was born with a rare bone disease which was very painful. Through the constant pain she was able to support her two children as a single mom with her art work. She kept creating up to the very end & it is a tragedy to have lost her. She learned the art of Cloisonné from China & incorporated it into her magnificent jewelry. I am super delighted with my purchase & highly recommend this Etsy shop! Thank you so much!

We BEG you guys, Please... If your Etsy Address and PayPal Addresses are different, please please let us know where you would like us to send your package. We have a real talent for choosing the wrong one.

Damages In The US Mail.
They happen sometimes.
Although we carefully wrap our vintage breakables in tons of bubblewrap and tons of padding and pack them in sturdy shipping boxes, damages still sometimes happen. *sigh*
Please tell us about damaged goods ASAP. Photograph the damages and send photos to us so that we can work it out with USPS.

Shipping policies

We ship by way of the United States Postal Service only.
Yes, FedEx and UPS are a little bit cheaper, but we find them to be very brutal with our delicates and breakables, so we refuse to play with them.

International Orders
The answer is YES we do ship internationally. Please just ask! There are many shipping destinations on this planet and each one is a slightly different price.

Additional policies

While it is considered customary for many antique and vintage shops to consider offers and dicker prices, our shop simply doesn't.
We've priced our merchandise as fairly as humanly possible. Please don't ask us to haggle.
Thank you.
