Ollas are the perfect solution to help your plants grow with less water. They are handmade with porous clay for the neck and enamelled body. Water will infiltrate through the neck into the ground. 0.65L for 10 days. (22 ounces)

Dig a hole near the plant. Place the olla inside the hole, leave the round body off the ground.

Replace the soil around the olla, firmly press the soil around the neck of the olla to ensure that it is in contact with the clay.

Fill the olla with water, place the lid on the hole

The olla will keep the soil watered, between a week and 10 days depending on the season, the size of the plant and the weather conditions.

These little ollas are so cute, colorful and perfect for medium-size planting pots. I so wish I could get a few more, but they no longer seem to be on offer. I bought these for my container garden, to match the colors of my apartment building, and boy are they beautiful. They came wrapped so carefully and with lots of padding, they made it all the way to Hawaii in perfect condition.
