5.5" diameter at bottom, 4" diameter at top

French enamelware is a collectible antique that served in the homes of Europe in a time when even humble items were beautifully made. Most pieces that are collected today were made in the early part of the 20th Century by skilled artisans. The shapes were cut from steel, coated with several layers of enamel, and fired to bake the glossy finish to the metal.

Unlike american enamelware, which was not decorated, French enamelware boasted botanical and graphic designs made by true artists, and was considered a serious art form of its time.

Today, there is no more beautiful way to add a little charm, color, and history to your home!
