Ingredients: Water, Sodium Hydroxide(lye), and various combinations of any of the following oils: Olive, peanut, coconut, grapeseed, canola or crisco.

All of the soaps are made in my kitchen at home in small batches With specific care and attention taken to make them the best they can be.

Jolly Mountain soaps do NOT contain harsh chemicals that will strip the natural oils off your skin leaving you with that dry shower feel. Many commercial soaps are closer to detergent bars and contain petroleum products, alcohols, synthetics and preservatives.
By using the cold process of soap making, all the moisturizing glycerin naturally formed during the process is retained and your skin will feel clean and refreshed.

Tips:
1)Make sure to let the soaps have a good place to dry out. If they are left in a puddle of water from the shower/sink they'll melt away a lot faster than chemical laden soaps you can get at the store.
2) Tell your friends and spread the love! I'd LOVE to see a positive response to my little company here.

About Lye: All homemade soap is made with lye. Soap is basically a mixture of an alkali and oil. The alkali is a catalyst for cleaning and lathering qualities. When an alkali is added to oils saponification occurs and produces soap. The oils and lye combine moleculary during the process and create a new substance - soap.
All of the soaps "cure" for at least a month while the lye and the fats finalize their little dance together. Thus there is no lye leftover in the actual soap.
