This is an antique book written in 1892 by S. Pancoast, M.D.
It has amazing illustrations of the female body and covers everything female! And for the Victorian age, it's quite dramatic.....:)

About Dr. Pancoast:

"Duly appreciating woman's instinctive modesty, he felt that she should have at hand a reliable instructor, safe counsellor, and wise friend-one that she could consult with the utmost freedom in her hours of pain and distress. Thoroughly imbued with this idea, he deemed it his duty to give to her the benefits of his ripe experience and the best results of his practical skill.
Hence, this work."

This book has 600 pages and measures 6 1/4x8 3/4".
It has lovely green floral endpapers and marbled pages.

Check out my last photo of the cure for pneumonia that has been pinned into the book!

The cover of this book is a muted blue gray color, very pretty with flowers and is very ornate in the way of all things Victorian.
