Collection of 5 old wooden lace bobbins, some still have the thread attached. These do not have holes for spangles - just simple plain English working bobbins.

They are in good vintage condition. Smooth and darkened with age. Some have slightly flattened places, but I am not sure if they are meant to be like this, or if they have chipped at some stage. Probably mid Victorian. These make lovely display items or if there are still lace makers out there, these could still be used for making pillow lace.

I am mainly a vintage button seller, but on my travels searching for old buttons I come across many quirky and interesting vintage items. These are usually sewing related....and this is one of the vinage finds I have recently found.
