"Cambridgeshire, England by Thomas Moule."

Published in 1837 with later part hand-coloring.

These maps were published in the early years of Queen Victoria's reign. This 1837 edition delineates the county subdivisions, called hundreds, and predates the railways.

Originally engraved by W.Schmollinger and published in Thomas Moule's "The English Counties In The Nineteenth Century".

This listing is for a very detailed high quality and high resolution reprint, suitable for framing, taken from a scan of the original steel engraved map.

Maps by Thomas Moule (1784-1851) are some of the best known English county maps. Issued from 1830 onwards the maps combine his trademark cartographic style with immense detail. Vignette views, scenes and portraits relating to the county are often included on the map.

Some defects present on the original, such as marks, creases or folds, may still be visible. This is public domain material that was never copyrighted.

It measures approx. 10.5 x 8 ins.

The print is sent airmail.
