Who would've thought of saving paper plates? Someone saw this lovely sailboat design and decided they were worth keeping! You will receive all 5 sail boat paper plates as pictured above. The original package indicated these were made by Serviset of Sutherland, and are most likely from the 1950s. (The cellophane packaging was falling apart, but these plates are in great condition.) They measure 8-1/2 inches by 8-1/2 inches, and depict sailboats on the ocean waves, with a buoy nearby. These sturdy cardstock plates are heavy by today's standards, and they almost 5 ounces. The label said Serviset, copyright 1949, made in the USA by the Sutherland Paper Company of Kalamazoo, Michigan. The plates are in great condition with no stains, dirt, or tears, although the backs are yellowed with age. They have a ridged edge to keep food on the plate.

5 Midcentury sailboat paper plates, 1950s, 1960s, Serviset by Sutherland, plate, paper plate, paper, picnic, beach, summer
