Lovely aurora borealis rhinestones are full of shine. The true color of aurora borealis jewelry is always difficult to capture with a camera as it changes like a chameleon with different backgrounds, lighting and angles. This is the allure, as it practically goes with anything. Pin this rather large three dimensional brooch into your coiffure, to accentuate the waistline of your dress or onto a fabric purse for added glamour. Consider pinning it on top of a rhinestone belt. Dates to the 1950s-1960s period.

Unmarked

This necklace is from the collection of Hannah Kuehne who immigrated to America from Germany and would be 105 years old if she were still alive today. Her daughter-in-law brought me all the jewelry Hannah purchased here in Portland, Oregon in the 1950s and 60s. Add me to your favorites as there is more to come.

Measurements
Brooch is 2.5" wide by 1.75" tall.

Condition
Very Good condition rating a 9 out of 10. There is a very small chip on the corner of one of the marquise cut stones as seen in the last picture. Otherwise magnificent with only very minor surface scratching to the stones.
