"Katy was a little girl who had hair the color of butterscotch taffy. She lived in a red brick house on Magnolia Street. Katy was a happy little girl. She played dolls with her friends Sandy, Jill, and Judy. She whizzed down the slippy slide in her yard. She did funny tricks on her climbing bars."

A very wonderful book- I especially love the vivid retro illustrations by Aliki. This is such a cute story :o) Katy's First Day is a Whitman Tell-A-Tale Book copyrighted 1962, this is the 1972 edition. It is in wonderful vintage condition and has 28 pages. Please enjoy!!
