Danish industrial designer Jens H. Quistgaard designed this ice bucket for the Dansk Company in the mid 1950’s. He designed this teak ice bucket to have a very sculptural mid - century modern look. This ice bucket is the larger size of the two sizes that were produced. It is large enough to easily chill a bottle of wine, champagne or hold plenty of ice for party guests. The construction of this ice bucket is made up of teak staves that are arranged in a circular form. Teak is now a protected species so this ice bucket will never be produced again. The orange plastic liner is clean and firmly attached. On the one side of the handle there is a “birth mark” that appears to be an oil stain? Look at the photo. Otherwise I consider this vintage teak ice bucket to be in a gently used vintage condition. Look at the photos to confirm.
Approximate dimensions: 19”H x 10”W Weighing approximately 7lbs.

Because of the weight, size, and where it ships to, the shipping costs will vary. I will refund any shipping overages from the next dollar amount up from the actual shipping cost.
