This is a pattern only, not the finished product! This is a lovely sash, which may be worn around the neck, as an elegant and sumptuous accessory, or as a stylish hairband!

It features a dainty scallop pattern, on sides and one end, and a lovely bell pattern on the other! The finished product is about 32" long, by about 2 1/2" wide, in the center.

To make this scarf, you will need:
(3) Size 4 Needles, (extra is for doing 3-needle bind-off)
1 Skein, 100 gms., of Bfl/silk, 55/45 hand dyed, fingering yarn, by Swiftfiberstudio (on Etsy!), or other similar fingering weight yarn (Gauge 7 1/2 stitches per inch on size 3 needle), in color of your choice (shown in Northern Lights)
1 Needle, for weaving in ends and sewing on buttons
(4) 7/16" Vintage Buttons

Skills Needed: 3-Needle Bind-Off, YO, SSK, K2TOG, KRL. (Sites showing these skills are given.)
This is an intermediate project, with a few fun challenges, for those looking for something a little interesting, but not too difficult!

Thank you for the wonderful photo (first photo), by Mary Rist Photography! If you are in Northern California, you can find her at:
