Onyx is an important stone of happiness, success and good fortune. It protects against negativity, helps strengthen the mind and center your energy. Onyx is said to bring luck and happiness in the home. A Buddha guru wood bead provides added significance, protection and focus. Made with love and positive thoughts, this wrist mala has eighteen large 10 mm jet black onyx round beads with a large 18 mm ebony Buddha wood bead as the guru bead. On the wood guru bead is the subtle carving of a Buddha in lotus. This simple carving depicts a Buddha with a kind and gentle face. If you look closely, you see a warm, loving smile. This is a wrist mala to wear and use anytime, anywhere to bring happiness, protect against negativity, to impart confidence and strength. You can wear it as a bracelet or use it for meditation, mantras, counting or whenever you need something to help keep you centered, focused and feel confident.

This unisex wrist mala measures approximately 7.6" or 19.5 cm and is strung on two strong stretch cords for durability. It will fit comfortably for a wrist with a circumference of 6 to 7.3 inches, depending on whether you prefer a snug or loose fit. Please convo me or simply note in "note to seller" at time of order if you need a different size. Please state the measurement of your wrist circumference, and please note that bead count will change once the size is adjusted.

About Malas:
Malas are sets of prayer beads that are used to keep your mind spiritually focused while reciting or mentally repeating a mantra. Mala is an ancient Sanskrit term meaning “garland”. Malas are the traditional and spiritual tools of the Buddhist and Hindu religions. The strings of beads are worn over the hand or in the hand so that each bead can be counted as each prayer is recited. It is also a wonderful accessory in meditation or as “worry beads”.
