S2 Stationery and Design is feeling a bit sad, but hopeful, as the country gets ready to remember the victims and the tragedy of September 11, 2001 this weekend.

The common question is "Where were you?" or "What were you doing?". I can tell you that I was a senior at the George Washington University completely oblivious to the actions that were taking place that morning. I was just waking up when the first plane struck and I turned the TV on to watch the news, randomly, as the second plane struck. I remember watching the TV in my pajamas thinking, "it's not April Fools Day, what is going on?" Then the Pentagon was hit, just across the river from my dorm, the reality of the day made me realize that we, collectively as a global community, would be changed forever.

At first, I did not want to do anything that would promote the day or seem like I'm trying to make money off of it. There are enough people out there doing that. But as the day got closer and I signed up to volunteer making cards for families of military service men and women, I realized that I could create something that might inspire others to express their feelings about the anniversary and what the day means to them...

Which is why this is a FREE DOWNLOAD!

All that is required is that you "purchase" the card and send me your email. Once I receive your email, I will send you the PDF and you can print and write away. You can share it with friends, family, anybody really, as long as you use the card with good intentions and to express your feelings about the day. I, myself, will be writing out a card and I'll probably share my words on my blog (www.s2designs.wordpress.com) after the weekend, but for now, I'm not asking for anything other than the opportunity to connect you with your emotions and feelings on good old fashioned paper.

I realize that there is a $.20 fee applied, but that is only because I had to apply some fee in the box. You can visit my blog site for the COMPLETELY FREE PDF (www.s2designs.wordpress.com) Sorry about that! Also please convo me for details and questions.

I wish you a day full of remembrance and love.
