This piece of vintage ceramic studio art from the 1980s early 90s is mysterious and even eerie. It makes me think of a spaceship of baby martians... or is it a statement about the process of birth... it is so evocative and so many ways to interpret it. I don't know the maker, but I know it fascinates me.

A pure white ceramic globe is punctured with babies heads pushing out at different intervals... along the base are a series of port holes with other babies looking out. One of the babies looking out the windows is missing - can you think of something strange you could put in there to freak out someone you know? Measures 9 1/2" high and 9 1/2" wide.
