DESCRIPTION
Suffragist Suffragette Party and Event Accessories - 4 Each of 3 Must Haves Items

--[1] 4 GOLD SATIN SASHES with 18 stars and the words VOTES FOR WOMEN in black. Examination of photographs and government archive documents shows that authentic sashes, ribbons, and flags frequently showed 18 stars representing the existing 18 amendments. When accompanied by the word VOTES FOR WOMEN, these items promoted the passage of the 19th Amendment. Sashes, ribbons and badges were worn by the millions of women who marched, organized, and protested to secure the right to vote.

--[2] 4 SATIN RIBBON ROSETTES COCKADES use the American suffrage colors of purple, white, and gold. The small white circle in the middle showing the words Votes for Women is surrounded by pleated ribbon. Each 3-inch rosette has 3 five inch ribbon streamers in matching colors. Purple is for loyalty, white is for purity and virtue, and gold is for the sunflowers of Kansas where Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton campaigned for the vote for women, hoping to get the state legislature to pass a suffrage bill. (BTW The British suffrage colors are purple, white, and green.)

Through research we found a sign with an authentic font from the early 1900s and have replicated it.
