Why a create a smart phone teether?

One day while testing a brand new Blackberry (for a top executive at the office no less), I allowed my teething daughter to play with it for a few minutes to occupy her while I was driving. After retrieving it from her, I groaned when I noticed little teeth marks marring the finish. Even worse, her drool had caused the keys to stop functioning properly. I guess the old models WERE tougher!

Inspired by this unfortunate incident, here is the all-natural smart phone for babies and toddlers! This toy is chemical and toxin-free! It's laser engraved on Canadian maple and finished with a baby safe unscented beeswax polish (unrefined beeswax, olive oil, carnauba wax). I guarantee this keepsake will outlive any other smartphone on the market!! It measures 6cm x 11cm.

Please note that this is a handmade natural wood product, and as such may have minor variations in the color and grain patterns in the wood.

The phones are 6cm x 11cm and a 1/4 thick. For other teething toys or items, please see the individual listings.
Our teethers are a 100% all natural. They are laser engraved on Canadian maple and sanded to a lustrous shine. The toys are finished with a baby safe unscented beeswax polish. The beeswax finish on our toys stands up well to regular play and should last a long time just as is. You shouldn't need to clean it as often as you would with plastic toys as wood due the anti-bacterial properties of the wood. So after regular play and being chewed on it dries and is fine. Washing with soap and water will remove the polish, but you can re-apply one yourself.
