Size 8/0 seed beads by Japanese Miyuki Ltd. One tube is the right amount for one beaded necklace or several beaded bracelets, approximately 800 beads.

These are the 8/0 beads we include in our kumihimo Beaded Chenille Necklace project kit and the Petite Beaded Necklace kit. I only stock beads with special finishes, like iridescent or matte or iris. Other styles of these beads are easily available from your local craft stores. (Glossy 8/0 beads are in a separate listing.)

In the name, AB means aurora borealis (iridescent) and Iris means a rainbow metallic finish. Most iridescent/rainbow finishes appear to be variegated since the rainbow sheen reflects many colors.

Sometimes production runs have slightly different dye lots, so if you need two or more tubes of beads to match exactly (if you are making several projects and you really want them to be identical) it is best to order the beads at the same time. I'm also noticing that occasionally (but rarely) my distributor seems to drop a color, rename a color, or combine two shades into one with a new name. When it happens, I will drop one when it runs out and add a new color.

Packaged/labeled by the manufacturer in a 5-inch plastic tube for convenient storage or by me (no label) when I can only get a certain color in 500 gram bags. Each tube is about 22g-23g or 800 or more beads.
