These three pieces of Ohio Art are very early tin lithography, 1930s. I cannot locate the design name, but it seems that it would have something to do with Jack and Jill. On the bottom of the cup is the name Ohio Art Made in the U.S.A. In the center of the cup is a 2-1.

I found these at an estate sale and fell in love with them. The teapot does not have the cover, the sugar is complete, and the one cup has some surface rust. How I love this motley trio. The colors are so much drabber then other patterns I have seen, which makes my heart go aflutter.

I would not change them in any way. I really love them piled on top of one another. They are small enough to fit anywhere, bringing back those days of childhood when playing house ended when mom said to come in, mud pies were left to dry in the sun, and tomorrow there would be new guests for tea. Yes, childhood!
