This pretty turquoise teapot was part of the Homer Laughlin Harlequin line, designed by art deco designer Frederick Rhead, who also designed Fiestaware. This style seems to have more deco lines than Fiesta, featuring sharp angles on the handles. It also features the graduated rings that Fiesta is famous for. Both patterns can be successfully mixed and matched. Harlequin was produced and sold between 1936 and 1964.

This pot is in good vintage condition with one small chip on the underside of the spout--see fourth photo. The chip is not really visible when looking at the piece from the side, so it's still a great piece for display in your retro kitchen!

The teapot is not backstamped, which is typical of the original Harlequin line.

Size: 9" wide x 6" tall (including lid).
