Description

"Abe Lincoln may have freed all men, but Sam Colt made them equal."

Here's the Colt Fire Arms Factory in Hartford Connecticut at the time of the American Civil War done by Currier and Ives. Sadly the factory with it's magnificent golden onion dome burnt to the ground in 1864.

This very cool double sided vintage poster reprint from 1976 measures 10.25" x 14.25" overall. It's done on quality glossy paper stock and features another cool advertisement on the reverse side for Ralph and Company; a huge 'Farming Implements and Machinery Warehouse and Seed Store' located in New York City from the same time period.Tough choice deciding which stunning side to frame.

Matted and framed and displayed as a grouping, these cool advertising prints are simply spectacular. (Please note that the framed examples in the last photo are to show how this might look when it's framed. Your print will come to you unmatted and unframed.)

Surrender Dorothy offers an outstanding selection of fascinating, frame-worthy vintage and antique prints, maps, charts and illustrations to adorn every room in your happy home. Terrific vintage finds for your workplace too.

Our art inventory moves very quickly and fresh selections are added each day. Please be sure to bookmark our shop and check back to visit often so you don't miss any of our latest discoveries.

I'll send this to you First Class Mail by way of those nice folks at the USPS rolled and protected in a sturdy tube.

Damages In The US Mail.
They happen sometimes.
Although we carefully wrap our vintage breakables in tons of bubblewrap and tons of padding and pack them in sturdy shipping boxes, damages still sometimes happen. *sigh*
Please tell us about damaged goods ASAP. Photograph the damages and send photos to us so that we can work it out with USPS.

Shipping policies

We ship by way of the United States Postal Service only.
Yes, FedEx and UPS are a little bit cheaper, but we find them to be very brutal with our delicates and breakables, so we refuse to play with them.

International Orders
The answer is YES we do ship internationally. Please just ask! There are many shipping destinations on this planet and each one is a slightly different price.

Additional policies

While it is considered customary for many antique and vintage shops to consider offers and dicker prices, our shop simply doesn't.
We've priced our merchandise as fairly as humanly possible. Please don't ask us to haggle.
Thank you.
