1960's

A finely woven Gray Herringbone all weather raincoat. Removable faux fur winter lining by means of a zipper. Fur is medium length in lustrous black, like beaver. Full primary lining, split between black satin taffeta in the sleeves and upper back, the remainder a cotton poplin in vertical shadow fade stripes composed of differing gray tones.

Small roundabout collar, 4 thru button closure. Two accent stitched hand warmer pockets, one on each side. Plain cuff with large button tab adjustment. Two extra buttons still sewn to interior.
Single center tail vent with a button to close. Another nice detail is a slit inside pockets that allows access to two large patch pockets on the interior lining. One pocket contains an Amalgamated Union tag and a sizing tag.

Very good condition, with some noticeable wear to the neck at collar(fading/discoloration), otherwise excellent. Don't get many rain coats outside of plaid and solids, this is a nice one! Warm, comfortable, and good looking...what more can you ask for?
