These pretty ruby-hued clip earrings are full of color and texture and they shimmer nicely in and out of the light. There are all kinds of beads here, mostly plastic, although I believe some of the faceted ruby beads may be glass. There are translucent beads, iridescent ones, textured ones, metallic ones, in various shapes with a few goldtone bead caps thrown in for good measure. The earrings measure about 1" long x 1" at widest.

Condition is good to very good overall. Structurally, the earrings are in excellent condition and the goldtone clip hardware functions perfectly. A fair amount of paint has worn off some of the round beads, as you can see in the pictures, but it really doesn't look bad. They have always looked like this in the 20 or so years that I have owned them, and I have worn them without really thinking about it until now. The only other thing to note is that, as happens sometimes with some vintage clip earrings, the clips weren't atttached at what I would call the logical center (the person probably didn't wear earrings!). So, you might want to wear the clip slightly to the side of your lobe to make them look straight.
