Vintage Chunky 1960s necklace. This is a beautiful fresh colour of green - fresh apple green marble effect beads, with metalic gold spacers and smaller round matching green beads inbetween - a copy of a classic 30's bakelite necklace I suppose. This necklace also has a chrome catch. The big beads are round and are about 3/4 of an inch in diameter. It is approximately 25" long.

Frequently asked questions about SobrinaBlue

The best way to size for a bangle is to take one that you already have and measure the diameter - this is the measurement from one side of the bangle to the other - but it must be the measurement from the inside of the wall and not the outside. There are tables on the internet of bangle sizes that will fit you - but they're not perfect and the best way is always to measure the diameter of one that you already have that fits you.
When I package up an order the first thing I do is put the piece (as long as it fits!) into a little silver colored bag and then carefully wrap it in bubble wrap. Then it goes it a protective envelope ready for posting.

If you are sending a present to someone and would like it sent to a different address from yours - please let me know - and I am always happy to enclose a little note to say who the gift is from.
Most of the jewelry that I sell is made from some type of plastic. This means that in general it is very robust and durable. Scratches and scuffs can be a problem - but they are really inevitable if you like to wear your bangles every day - and the other thing is that plastic can get dirty or dull. If this happens give it a good wash in some warm soapy water - this usually does the trick. Note - this adivce only applies to the plastic jewelry. If you have something made from metal or glass then they probably need cleaning with a metal cleaner or a glass cleaner. Don't plunge anything that's not pure plastic into water as it may bleach, come unstuck or get water inside it!
