Here is a print from inuit myth series I made. It represent the anirniq, the breathe of the soul.

The Inuit believed that all things had a form of spirit or soul, just like humans. These spirits were held to persist after death and are the original essence of the being.

The inuit myths are a great source of inspiration for me, their respect for nature and the way they are living in harmony with it too.

This illustration is printed on 200g Tintoretto paper (slightly grained beautiful paper) with white margins for framing.

Under the drawing, I put the inuit name in roman alphabet and its equivalent in Inuktitut syllabics.

Dated and signed on the back.

Thank you for watching !
