This bag is made by me (Anne) in the UK. It is made from upcycled fabric.

The outer of the bag is made from warm cream coloured patterned cotton which has been upcycled from an old curtain. The bag is fully lined with chocolate brown upcycled cotton.

I have used the pattern on the curtains to advantage with this bag, arranging it so that on the from the pattern shows ripened grasses growing. This pattern is encompassing of the bag and gives it a real sense of harvest and natural calm.

I have made the strap from the same fabric as the outer of the bag, but have chosen an unpatterned part of the curtain to make it from.

The bag is sealed with a magnetic popper and has a lanyard hook for securing keys. There is also an internal divider pocket which is sealed with strong Velcro and a small external pocket with a wooden ladybird button closure.

Approximate dimensions:
Width: 37cm/14.5in
Height: 23cm/9in
Strap: 125cm/49in
Internal divider pocket: 34cm/13.5in by 22cm/8.75in
External Pocket: 13cm/5in by 10cm/4in

Please visit my shop to see more bags that I have made. I use as much upcycled material as possible and make each one with care and love – each piece is unique. If you see any ideas that you like, but want a variation on, or have something more specific that you are after, please contact me about custom bags.
