Made in Germany between 1975-76, this belt-drive turntable was extremely popular, and sold for around 195.00. Pretty expensive for the mid 70's.
Sadly, this great looking unit does not function properly. It powers up and the table rotates, but it will not complete a cycle. Also the raise-lower lever for the tone arm feels disconnected. On the plus side, the stroboscope works, the belt is supple and feels like it's been recently replaced. The plastic cover is slightly scratched, but in amazingly good condition with no breaks or cracks. The platter pad is in excellent condition, too. The cartridge is an Audio Technica (possibly an AT-12S). I believe it is only missing the tall spindle to make it a complete unit. The original operating instruction booklet is included.
All in all, this will make someone either a really good fix-it-up turntable, or a great parts donor.
