This is a rare, original 139 year old chromolithograph print-an actual bookplate that I have removed from a Victorian child's book.
The title of the plate is ''The Sunbeams Stole in to Kiss Him'

The book is titled 'The Story Without an End' & it was published in 1872.
The plate is illustrated by Eleanor Vere Gordon Boyle (1 May 1825 – 29 July 1916) an English artist and author of the Victorian era. She has been considered the most important female illustrator of the 1860s.

The print has been removed from the page & mounted to protect it.
mount measures almost 9 3/4'' x almost 8'' & actual chromo. measures approx.5 3/4'' x 4 1/4''
The back of the plate is age worn & foxed but the actual image is very good.Bright & clean.
