German opera glasses, field glasses, with leather case from the 1920s by Emil Busch. This is a wonderful pair of opera glasses made from metal, brass and leather, they are brown in color. They come in a leather case with handle and maroon red lining.

These glasses still work really well, you can focus on objects not too far away, a stage, or horse race perhaps, with no problem.

The glasses measure just 3½ins (9cm) long and are 1½ins (4cm) tall when closed and 1¾ins (45cm) when fully extended. The leather case is 4½ins (11.5cm) long, 1½ins (4cm) wide and 2½ins (6.5cm) tall.

The glasses are still in great vintage condition - some of the brown paint is starting to wear off the metal in places but the leather, brass and focus are in good order. The case is looking a little tired! The leather is quite worn and both of the side seams have started to come apart - see last photo. However, this is still a great pair of opera glasses by a famous German manufacturer.
