I cleaned out our summer kitchen yesterday and found a box with these inside. I had completely forgotten about them! I made them probably seven or eight years ago....before collaging was so very popular. They are tiny paper dolls cut from antique paper, placed on hand dyed black linen and framed, under glass, in a burl veneer frame. The paper dolls are actually cut in two pieces...the doll, and the dress. The pattern for the paper doll and dress came from an antique framed paper doll I found years ago which was made some time in the 1800's.

The framed size is 5 5/8 by 4 1/2 by 3/4 inches thick.

Please forgive the weird second photo. I found I was able to get a photo with less glare at this angle.

Thank you!
