This design was inspired by a piece of filet lace. I used a 36 count Silkweaver linen in the color Crushed Cranberries. The project is stitched using a "main" color of thicker thread and full X's and an "accent" color of thinner thread and tent stitches. I used DMC Floche in 712 (you will need 3 hanks) for the thicker thread and one strand of DMC 712 floss for the thinner thread (one skein is more than enough). Instead of the floche, you could stitch the "main" color using two strands of floss, in which case you would need 16-18 skeins for this project.

Pattern is black and white and uses full cross stitches and tent stitches only.

Stitch count is 285 x 253.
