Uses for these cute object-filled wood pieces:
Auditory memory
Auditory sequential memory
Learning size (line them up big to small)
Teaching patterning (line up alternating patterned and solid ribbons)
Shake them like maracas
Dramatic play - marching band

How to Play Auditory Memory:
Teach your children to listen carefully. One person closes their eyes while the other shakes one of the pieces. The player with his or her eyes closed then shakes all the pieces and guesses which one the other person shook. After guessing switch roles with your partner. As listening skills develop try a sequence of two sounds (shake one then a second) and guessing the sequence. Then progress to a sequence of three sounds and so forth.

The largest piece measures approximately 6 inches tall and the small piece measures approximately 1 3/4 inches tall.

The wood is polished with all natural beeswax and jojoba oil. Because this is a natural product, some pieces may have knots in the wood.

This toy is not recommended for children under three or those at risk for putting objects in mouth. Contains small pieces that pose a choking hazard. As with all toys, children should be supervised during play.
