The antique piano stool is such a versatile piece of furniture. Use it for extra seating, as a plant stand, and of course, to sit and play a few tunes. This one is grain painted on the base and can work in either a Victorian or rustic setting.

This antique dark wood piano stool was manufactured by Geo. W. Archer, Rochester, N.Y., with a patent date of May 6, 1875. The turned legs have a nice tiger striped grain painted finish with glass and iron ball and claw feet. The adjustable swivel seat has nice wear and a buildup of old finish in the slight depression.

Seat - 14-1/2" diameter
Overall - 18" diameter by 19" tall (lowest position)

The seat has been repositioned to the iron swivel mechanism at some point, probably due to wear in the original holes. Overall condition is very good and the stool is tight with no loose joints.
