These vintage illustrations, from a 1931 German book concerning the dangers of electricity, have been hand printed onto a cotton/linen blend fabric and then sewn into a dark brown bias tape. Each flag is two layers of fabric and I have stitched around the edge of each image to prevent fraying. There is an image on both sides and when hung in a window it will glow!

It would seem that there was the danger of electrocution hiding around every corner back then as the book cites 132 methods of accidentally electrocuting oneself!

+ printed on white linen
+ banner has nine flags
+ each flag measures 4 " by 6.5"
+ flags are sewn to dark brown bias tape
+ pearl snap closures at each end to make a large loop for easy hanging
+ distance from end to end with the snaps done up to form loops is 5'
+ image is the same on both sides so it can be hung across a room

*This garland is meant for decorative purposes and is not a toy. Please hang out of reach of small children.
