This lovely little assembled bird is approximately 6 1/4" tall and is the 12th in this series.

I created this piece using a wood and papier mache bird head (with tin beak!), wooden wings from an old furniture fragment and a vintage Hartz Mountain tin. I have wire wrapped a small stick at the base upon which he is perched. I decided to create these legs on a magnet, so you can easily remove them should you want to sit this on a shelf. Just position the magnet out of sight, on the back!

This tin is in very vintage shape- rusty, crusty, dinged and dented beautifully- to give that perfect vintage/primitive feel.

Please handle with care- not for children to play with.
