Cedar Vertical Planter Box, Ladder Style, Raised Garden Bed

Featuring a 24" or 36"vertical herb or flower garden planter perfect for succulent vegetables, flowers, or herbs. 100% CEDAR! Those raised bed cedar boxes save a lot of space and are perfect for balconies, apartments, townhomes, patio, or decks. They are designed to be put against a wall or a vertical surface, but they come also with legs so they can be free-standing. I do offer the ability to add a sign laser engraved attached on top, with your own text or text/clipart to make it very unique.

They come in 3 different options : 3, 4, 5 containers, I also offer a linseed coat option so you keep them pristine over time! they all made with Cedarwood (smells so good!). They all handmade and built in my small shop in North Carolina, USA!



Why Vertical Planters?

It makes a lot of sense :
1/ You save a lot of space
2/ You do not have to bend and hurt your back to take care of your boxes.
3/ Design and holes at the bottom of each container allow water to drip from container to container top to bottom
4/ Many Plants like part shade, the bottom containers are perfect for so.

Growing vertical with my raised bed vertical herb garden planter vegetable gardening systems will provide you in a small space a lot of growing area.

Here is a list of vegetables/herbs that grow well vertically:

Kale, Peas, Beans, Peppers, Parsley, Chives, Tomatoes, Tomatillo, Eggplant, Cucumbers, Squash, small pumpkins



A Unique Design

The design is mine with a design patent, all containers come assembled! Each box can be easily removed, so you can do the planting elsewhere. Boxes are light and easy to manipulate. Stoppers prevent a container from sliding and fall! Holes at the bottom of each box dripped from container to container from top to bottom!

Sanding!

I spend a lot of time sanding the whole planter! It means that all containers and frames are sanded. All smooth, ready to be painted, chalk painted, etc...



Protect?

Protect and beautify your cedar planter with our eco-friendly hand rubbed linseed oil finish (select the option), that will bring to life the delicate wood grain of the wood and keep it shielded over time (i recommend it).



Where to Place them?

1/ Against a Wall. The design and position of the legs let you place your container just against any vertical surface (wall, etc...).
2/ Standalone. They come with legs and with the center of gravity quite low, they stand well
If you don't want to have the legs. two wings nuts and they are out!
3/ Back to back. You can also position 2 in a pyramidal shape, It looks gorgeous



Sizes

The sizes are pretty well on the spot but remember this is all handcrafted, some cuts or assemblies may slightly differ, All the container and frames are sanded! All are handmade so it is unique and some imperfections make them perfect!

See the photo with my doggie to give you an idea of the height and remember it is vertical(!) so the footprint is minimal!

The containers are quite sturdy, removable, and light!



Planter on Caster!

Following a demand, I do offer a wheeling option (this add 3 inches to the total height)
The vertical planter comes on 4 casters so you can roll it around! You can remove the wheels easily if you don t want to use them anymore. It's groovy!



Customize with engraved SIGN on top

I can laser engrave a sign that is attached on top of the planter (24-inch planter only), a perfect touch, for a very personal gift!
Please email me what you would like to get on the sign above the planter. It is going to be engraved and has to be black and white (no photo, clipart ok) only. A combination of clipart and text is the best (see the photo example). I will adjust it and email you back the final design for you to pre-approve!



Assembly

All containers come assembled, The frame comes unassembled but so easy to put together with a total of 10 nuts you just have to tighten!
By default I put drainage holes, if you do not wish any, drop me a note!



Customize?

Yes, I can, it is not standard but email me and I can see if I can make them for you!
Example:
1/ I built for a customer a step-up, so the whole planter is 30 inches above the ground.
2/ Add wheels came from a customer request!


Other Design

I do have 2 other listings, one is a more compact planter (12 and 18"wide). Another is a ladder much taller, without legs, made to be against a wall or a fence!


Shipping?

Free and everywhere except Hawaii, Alaska, or international! Unfortunately due to the size of the shipping box since all containers come assembled, the shipping cost to Hawai or Alaska is prohibitive. If you really wish to get it, contact me and I can provide you a price that will reflect shipping.
