◥◤ Turnaround times & Shipping Info ◥◤

FABRIC is printed on demand and is created in the United States from natural fiber fabrics. Synthetic fabrics are available to be printed though I currently have none listed in my Etsy shop as I believe the natural fibers are much more beautiful and wonderful to sew with!

Turnaround times are between 7-12 days for fabric to be prepared, printed and cured before shipping. This allows the print to set properly so we thank you for your patience & understanding when ordering.

The shipping cost is calculated based on approximate weight per yard or as a flat rate per fat quarter and varies depending on location. Please contact me before ordering if you would like me to quote shipping cost for an order of more than 1 yard.

Please contact me for larger or smaller quantities. I am happy to make a special listing for you. Order 20 yards or more and receive 15% off.

✔ FABRIC WHOLESALE

If you would like to order larger quantities, I am happy to make a special listing for you. Order 20 yards or more and receive 15% off. Please note that orders of more than 8 yards can not be printed in a continuous length. Contact me for further info
✔ FABRIC

For all fabrics, except those containing silk, Machine wash warm or cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. While testing prototype fabrics I usually use a natural eco-friendly washing powder, a gentle or regular cotton wash machine setting and temperatures up to 40 degrees C. I don't own a dryer as I like to make use of the free energy from the sun but if you live somewhere where a clothes dryer is necessary, use the cooler or gentler settings.

For silk and silk blends, it is best to hand wash in cool water using a gentle phosphate-free detergent suitable for delicates. Do not soak your silk fabric! Dry in shade and preferably flat or without using pegs which may damage or warp the fibers.
✔ JEWELRY & Hair Clips/Combs

My jewelry is made from recycled vintage metals and new glass beads. All metals are lead & nickel free so they are safe to wear against your skin but to keep them looking shiny & new it is best not to wear them while swimming and keep them in a dry place when not being worn. You can clean the metal parts by rubbing with cotton wool or soft cloth dipped in a mixture of apple cider vinegar and salt. It will remove tarnish and make them just like new again! Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly after cleaning.

This method works best on raw brass and copper. Metals that have been given an antiqued or burnished treatment (the comb part of the hair accessories) are best cleaned with a damp soft cloth.
Yes, of course you can! You are buying fabric from an indie designer but its just like buying fabric from any store (only much much better!), its yours to use as you wish for any project, either for yourself or for your shop.

I always appreciate a mention as the print designer (though its not a requirement!) and I really love to see what you create when using my fabrics so get in touch with a pic or link to your finished projects or products. Discovering a photo of my fabrics being used is a highlight of my day!
With a portfolio of over 1500 designs it is impossible for me to keep all my fabrics on hand in my studio in Australia so every yard you order is printed to order and shipped directly to you from my printing partners in the USA and Berlin.

If you live in USA, Canada or Australia (for example) your order will ship from the USA. If you live in Europe, your order will likely ship from Berlin.
Fabric ships for free at this stage, though some orders via Europe may incur VAT fees. Check with me before placing your order and I can check any applicable taxes.

✔ Regardless of where your order ships from you will always deal only with me, the fabric designer and owner of Thistle and Fox.
