Cedar wood ashiko. All the cedar wood for this ashiko came off of a large logging discard pile that I turned into boards from which the ashiko staves are made. The ultimate in “eco” wood, certified by mother nature. I pride myself in sourcing wood in this manner.

The cedar makes a light drum which produces a lively acoustic sound. These drums have a strong bass note, warm tone, and a distinctive slap. They are very portable and versatile in many different playing situations. Perhaps the lightest drum with the biggest sound that you will ever play.

The drum comes with a very durable african goat skin and is laced with 5mm “drum” rope. The rope is designed especially for drum use, having low elasticity, while maintaining a tune under high tension. These drums come with a full tune without the start of any tuning weave. Therefore, infinidee Drums are able to maintain a tune for years with use of the Mali weave.

Dimensions 23" tall w/ 11.5" head.
