This was a fun piece to design. Needle Tatted Lace Collar Caplet or Shoulder Shawl/Shrug in hand dyed tencel. The tencel is silky soft, and the colors are enlivening and vibrant, coming from one of my favorite shops, Yarntopia Treasures.

The original pattern, which inspired me, is one of my favorites and can be found in Traditional Tatting Patterns, published by Dover Needlework Series, edited by Rita Weiss.

I included 2 different photos of who it could be worn. The first pair of photos shows me wearing it high up on my shoulders and neck...the second pair show is more slouching off the shoulders. There are many ways this piece can be worn. You may also sew it onto you favorite blouse.

~When laying flat, as in the last photo, it measures 21 inches (53.34cm) across and 17 1/2 inches (44.45 cm)from the bottom of the center point across to the bottom of the opposite side.
~when laying flat, The head opening is 9 1/2 inches (24.13cm) wide by 6 inches (15.24cm) across.
~ the center point measures 6 1/2 inches (16.51cm) from the neckline, all other points measure 5 inches (12.7 cm)

Care and washing intrustions will be included.
