From my Mother's doll collection, a lovely Southern Belle doll. This doll as been carefully handmade with attention to detail.

This little Southern Belle was handmade by an artisan in Southern Idaho sometime during the 1970's. ~Well, how nice!~

She has a ceramic head (her body, arms and legs are plastic). Her dress, apron and petticoat are crocheted from white and baby blue worsted weight yarn. She is complete with an under-skirt and leggings. She sports a floral and lace decorated straw hat. In her hand she is carries a crocheted parasol (umbrella) for those sunny southern days . She has blond hair, and big blue eyes that open and close. She wears tiny white shoes on her delicate feet. She comes complete with her own stand for display.

Approximate size: 16"
