Mola cat with fish! One great little gato holding a green pescado!

Really stellar hand stitched applique mola created by a very gifted Kuna Indian artist in ‘Kuna Yala’, The San Blas Islands, Eastern Panama.

Kuna artists call these small molas 'mor bipi'. The word for cat is 'meesee'. Fish = "oo-wah" This is a very well done 'meesee oh wah bipi'!

So well executed! SUPERB stitchery! A great example of old school mola making.. in 'true mola' style.. traditional reverse applique.

Cat mola mini's in these awesome colors are very rare!

Check out that amazing embroidery and the almost invisible applique stitching...

The colors are rich and vibrant.. the design.. way adorable. A fab-u-lous little mola!
