Such a sweet little shabby chic lady, made in Britain in the early years of the 20th century. She is made of solid brass, and her large crinoline skirt hides the brass bell that would have summoned your forebears to their dinner...

She has ringlets and wears a large brimmed green and yellow hat, and holds her hands demurely in her lap. She is hand-painted in enamels with bright scarlet flowers trimming her dress and in her basket, her tiered skirts a pale blue over cream, and with a green bodice.

She is in good antique condition, with some wear to her face and to the paintwork, which does not detract. An authentic old piece which would add charm to any period setting...

She measures just under 10 cm/4" high and weighs 332 gms; estimated packaged weight would be 600 gms. The bell is surprisingly loud and clear.
