Sonora Sunrise is a great new find out of Mexico that was the hot new rock and the Tucson and Quartzite Gem and rock shows! It is made up of Chrysocolla, which is a beautiful blue, and Cuprite, which has some great red variations! The black banded pattern is tenorite.

This classic combination of color is my favorite for this material. This is from the first vein of this material that was found, so it will only get harder to find as time goes by.

I'm not usually a big fan of abstract art, but I will take the kind that nature does any day!

Measures about 20 mm x 41 mm x 6 mm deep.
Colors: red, black, blue-green

Note: The last 2 beautiful pictures are by the person who sold me the stone. The first 3 are by me (I need to improve on my camera skills and find a light tent).
